Paris Hilton and Owners of the Las Vegas Property Have Reached Agreement
for the Flagship Club to be Located at the Aladdin Resort and Casino
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Paris Hilton, hotel heiress and
star of "The Simple Life," joined with Aladdin Resort and Casino Chairman Robert
Earl and Michael V. Mecca, CEO of the Aladdin and Hilton's business partner,
Fred Khalilian, to announce that the parties have reached agreement to open Club
Paris at the Aladdin Resort and Casino. The Las Vegas resort, which was recently
purchased by an investment group headed up by Planet Hollywood founder and
Chairman Robert Earl, is located in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. This
announcement is the first of many changes to the property as the new owners
continue their process of revamping the entertainment options offered on
property.
"Las Vegas is hot, Planet Hollywood is hot and I wanted to be part of the
newest, hottest resort in Las Vegas," said Hilton during the announcement. "I
will see everyone back here on New Year's Eve when I officially open Club Paris
in Las Vegas and Orlando on the same night! That's HOT"
Along with Club Paris, Miss Hilton is also in the process of designing her
own personal suite inside the resort. The suite will be Paris' apartment
whenever she is in town and, when she is not in Las Vegas, the suite will be
available for hotel guests to reserve.
Plans call for the Aladdin Resort and Casino to be renamed Planet Hollywood
Resort and Casino in early 2006. The resort will remain open during the
remodeling and re-branding of the property and, once the remodel is complete,
there will be a Hollywood style grand opening celebration for the newest resort
in Las Vegas.
